Developing a scalable design system for 14 NYT podcasts, balancing a unified brand identity with unique visual systems for each show. Ensuring seamless functionality and consistency across on-platform experiences (Audio app, Listen tab, and embeds) and off-platform channels (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube). Collaborating with editorial, product, engineering, and brand identity teams to deliver user-centered and platform-optimized solutions.

UI Icons for NYT Product Bundle
2023-24 (Implementation in-progress)
Developing, designing, and defining a cohesive set of user interface icons to create a consistent visual language across all NYT products, including News, Games, Cooking, Audio, Wirecutter, and The Athletic. This system aims to unify the bundle and enhance the overall user experience with clarity and consistency.
Approach Redesigning the entire core set of icons with a focus on consistency, ensuring alignment in line weight, icon sizes and style. The subject matter of the icons was not changed. Collaboration with individual product teams to test and implement these icons effectively.
Deliverables Icon Framework, Guidelines, Rules and Principles, Icon Set, Components, Applied Screens.
